Biography
Rostyslav STOIKA received his PhD degree in Biological Sciences from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1993. Later, he took a position in the Department of Regulation of Cell Proliferation and Apoptosis, Institute of Cell Biology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. His research projects are (1) Enhancing of effectiveness and addressed action of traditional and experimental medicines via their complexation with and delivery by functionalized nanomaterials; (2) Search for molecular targets of biological action of novel medicines of synthetic and natural origin. 
Research
Development of functionalized nanomaterials for improving the biological activity of anticancer drugs.
Development of new leading compounds with high anticancer activity.
Search for the potential molecular targets of anticancer drugs.
